Classes temporarily suspended at DUT

CLASSES have been temporarily canceled at Durban University of Technology campuses while students call for bolstered security measures at the institution following the stabbing of student Sandile Ndlovu last Tuesday.

Ndlovu is reportedly still in a critical condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the head in a lecture room by an unknown suspect . Student political formations at DUT are calling for bolstered security measures at the institution and are demanding that the current security provider, Excellent be dismissed.
