Eskom exec speaks out: Shivambu says it's proof Gordhan is dangerous

SowetanLIVE reported that Mavuso had described how the board had its hands tied when it came to making vital decisions due to an interfering shareholder. While the board member opted not to name-drop, Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan is currently Eskom's shareholder representative:“There are decisions that we know we have to be making as this board, but the shareholder quickly comes in and says that you can't do that because it is politically inconvenient.
