- EFF leader, Julius Malema, has come to the defence of Sheperd Bushiri via social media- This follows a social media post relating to the self-proclaimed prophet, which Malema took exception to- EFF supporters warned Malema not to get involved or face the risk of losing votes EFF leader, Julius Malema, is not one to mince his words or shy away from controversy.
A prime example of this was on Thursday as he came to the defence of embattled religious leader, “Prophet” Sheperd Bushiri.The self-proclaimed prophet has been in the firing line of late but Juju feels that he’s been treated unfairly.

"Malema took exception to this and said, “Advovo, I think you guys are unfair on #Bushiri and will do a thread on Sunday to give reasons why I think you are unreasonable.”Juju added that this is in respect of issues relating to spirituality and not his criminal case.
