The ANC and other parties rejected the proposal, saying that Parliament did not have the power to make such name changes, Briefly.co.za has learned.Malema, however, said that the name would be changed regardless, and said that an EFF election victory would be a game-changer for Winnie's legacy, according to The Sowetan.He appeared to be implying that only the EFF truly understood and respected Madikizela-Mandela's legacy.
