The South African Human Rights Commission found that Julius Malema was not guilty of hate speech with his 'white people slaughter' comments in 2018.

The remarks caused a stir in South Africa. The South African Human Rights Commission has dismissed a complaint that was issued by the FW De Klerk Foundation over comments that EFF leader, Julius Malema, made in 2018.

The politician was accused of hate speech after he stated that his party is "not calling for the slaughtering of white people – at least for now”.
