The situation around the CR17 emails continues to swirl around the ANC.
On Tuesday morning the former Economic Freedom Fighters member of Parliament Tebogo Mokwele said she had received money from now President Cyril Ramaphosa for help with an NGO, and because she needed money after suffering a bereavement. She said the money was placed directly into her account in November 2017 after she approached officials at the Deputy Presidency.
Mokwele and another EFF MP Nkagisang Mokgosi both resigned last night after both said they received R80 000 from this account.
